Stand-out drink with an artistic twist from EPIC’s new menu

EPIC is updating its menu to include their bartender’s favorite bespoke cocktails.
The Flower Power (RMB128) is a dazzling display – it’s served in a champagne glass that has been meticulously decorated with colorful flowers, affixed on a coat of meringue. The gin-based craft cocktail is fruity and fizzy, and as we’re told, a favorite among some regulars. The one we ordered was made with peach purée, but the fruit base can be switched out for raspberry or pineapple.
How it’s Made:
- Get creative: Coat 1/4 of a champagne glass with meringue. Carefully place a handful of sugar balls, a sprinkle of beetroot powder and selection of flowers onto the meringue.
- Fruity and Fresh: In a shaker, pour 50 ml of Bluecoat Gin, 15 ml of fresh lemon juice, 40 ml of homemade peach purée and 10 ml of Grenadine to give the drink a pink tint. Shake well.
- Add some Sparkle: Mix in 50 ml of Blanc de Blancs sparkling wine and serve in a champagne glass. Drop in three, small ice cubes and top it off with more fizz.
